Supporting the Soul Workshops

September 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Workshops on Grief, Mourning, and Healing with Kaleidoscope & Chevre
Step into the High Holidays with intention. The Jewish month of Elul invites us to slow down and turn inward. This allows us to gently open ourselves to an emotion we often avoid: grief. We are given the spiritual space to sit with grief to experience healthy mourning and comfort.

🕯️ September 9 Workshop One will dive into resources to explore the sacred tasks of caring for mourners and end-of-life journeys. The workshop focuses on practical information while giving opportunities to share experiences and feelings of grief in a supportive and safe environment.

🌱 September 16 Workshop Two will utilize the healing and creative process of Huichol yarn art, accessible to all skill levels, to process grief in a nonverbal way. There will also be small group conversations on mourning and healing as people work on their art.

Childcare and a light dinner are provided with prior registration. Attend one or both sessions—each stands on its own while building on shared themes. You do not need to be a member of Kaleidoscope or Chevre Kadisha to attend.
