Shavuot Festival and Yizkor Service

June 2 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Judaism’s three major pilgrimage festivals—Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot—were times when Israelites traveled to the Temple in Jerusalem to celebrate and worship, each aligned with a key moment in the agricultural harvest. Though the pilgrimages ended after the Temple’s destruction, the festivals remain central to Jewish life, marked today by synagogue services and, in Israel, visits to the Western Wall.
